Teams Greenland and Saami were the first contigents to arrive in Whitehorse this morning after a five and a half hour flight. Whitehorse Mayor Bev Buckway was on hand to greet the athletes and their coaches.
The Canada Games Centre complex, including the pool, will be closed to the public for the Arctic Winter Games Opening and Closing ceremonies on March 4 and 10. Close to 2,000 athletes expected to take part.
