Fun fact - 100 cm of snow has fallen in HV-GB this week. Outdoor enthusiasts are thrilled! That means that 199 cm is on the ground. On this morning's #NLwx map, extreme cold warnings are in effect for western Labrador, the Churchill Valley and Nain. Expect wind chill values of -45 overnight into tomorrow morning. Brrr!

Quiet night across NL. Late tomorrow the next system moves in. All snow for Labrador then a wintry mix for Newfoundland. Update: Snow squall warnings now in place along the west and south coast with snow squall watch in place for the Avalon. Marystown RCMP warning drivers about snow covered, slippery roads with low visibility - zero, at times, on Rte 210, Burin Peninsula Highway.
Police are at the scene of a collision and ask drivers to be extra careful when passing.
