On our next Crosstalk we're asking: is it parental over-reaction, or did the teacher go too far? Our guests are David Pretty and Denise Pike. They're both parents, and both members of the Federation of School Councils. What do you think? 722-7111/1-800-563-8255

Here & Now POV: The battle between Ocean Choice International and the FFAW, the union representing fish plant workers, is heating up yet again. On Sunday, the crew of the 'Newfoundland Lynx' set up a blockade on the wharf in Bay Roberts to keep non-union workers from getting on board. Meanwhile, OCI CEO Martin Sullivan says the contract between the 50 workers on the vessel expired in 2006. Sullivan is accusing the FFAW of "incredible antics" saying the union gave them no notice that they were going on strike. What do you think of this whole situation? Is the FFAW out of line this time? Or did Ocean Choice International bring this upon themselves? hereandnow.nl@cbc.ca

Here & Now POV: There are plenty of questions being asked after this week's tragic end to the search for a boy from Makkovik. The chief of defence staff has launched an internal investigation into why it took so long for search and rescue aircraft to be deployed. Military aircraft weren't deployed until two days after Burton Winters, 14, disappeared. What are your thoughts on this story? hereandnow.nl@cbc.ca
