Here & Now POV: Fisheries Minister Darin King has rejected a request from Ocean Choice International for a permanent exemption to ship unprocessed fish out of the province. The company wants that exemption to export most of its quota of unprocessed groundfish. Fisheries Minister Darrin King says he is willing to consider temporary exemptions. But not until he gets the information he needs from OCI. King says permanent exemptions are not in the best interests of the province. What are your thoughts on this latest development? hereandnow.nl@cbc.ca

Here & Now POV: A Federal court judge says the 2010 band council election in Natuashish was full of irregularities. The judge has ordered a new election within three months. Some of the problems included a voter's list that may have listed the names of dead people. Ballots were defective, and once the polls closed the ballot box ended up in the hands of the newly elected chief instead of the returning officer. Current chief Simeon Tshakapesh and his council will stay in place until the new election. Tonight we'd like to get your thoughts on this. hereandnow.nl@cbc.ca

Flights are delayed at St. John's International Airport, and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary confirms wind has blown parts off the roof of its old HQ on Harvey Road. Contractors are on scene, and public access from Harvey Road has been closed for safety reasons.
