    CBC News brings you the latest from Tuesday's deadly stabbing in northwest Calgary that killed five. Here's what we know:

    • Matthew de Grood is charged with five counts of first-degree murder and will likely be remanded for a psychological assessment, police say.
    • Josh Hunter, Zackariah Rathwell, Kaitlin Perras, Jordan Segura, and Lawrence Hong have been identified as the victims. Police say they did nothing to cause the violence.
    • A neighbour says 12 to 20 university-aged people had been having a backyard gathering, but it didn't seem loud or unruly.
    • Police Chief Rick Hanson called the killings the worst mass murder in the city's history.
