A few showers through the Red River Valley overnight into this morning - as expected - and now it’s sunny. Isn’t that the way it is supposed to work?
In the west, there is a chance for an afternoon shower through Dauphin, Brandon and Portage la Prairie. Here in the RRV, we do have a slight chance of an evening shower but that chance is quite low and much later in the evening.
Thursday will be a mainly sunny day here in the south with a temp up around 19 degrees. Across the north Thursday, a band of rain moves through Thompson in the afternoon. That’s a snow event farther north.
We warm up to 22 in the south on Friday with a few morning clouds than a mainly sunny afternoon. Patios will be busy!
And let’s the weather party rolling through the weekend with highs between 19 and 21, lots of sunshine and no mosquitoes.
Wind Forecast for WinnipegWednesday: NW @ 20 in the afternoon.Thursday: Light Wind in the morning. W @ 10/15 in the afternoon.
Friday: N @ 10 in the morning. N @ 25/30 in the afternoon.
Saturday: SE @ 20/25 in the morning. SE @ 20 the afternoon.

After a sunny start to the day, I’m tracking some showers to the west of the Red River Valley (as of 1pm) and that line is moving east this afternoon.
There’s about a 40% chance we’ll see some showers late afternoon and evening here in the RRV. The showers will be an off/on feature in our overnight and early morning weather as well.As we work our way into Wednesday afternoon, the sun appears again, but there is a slight chance of an evening shower as well.
Thursday is a sunny day in the mid teens. We warm up to 22 on Friday with some sun and some cloud.
