Trial has resumed. Crown has begun its opening argument.
Crown begins laying out its case against Michael Rafferty. Prosecutor says video surveillance and Blackberry records can link the accused to Tori's disappearance and murder.
Crown also says Rafferty's Honda Civic will also play an important role in their case, including DNA evidence collected inside it. It was recognizable, prosecutor says. "It had a bad paint job basically."
Crown attorney Kevin Gowdey says 'the trial will travel down a long road." He says he is laying out part of the Crown's case to the jury. "The idea is that you will have an idea of where we are going."
Gowdey also says the "trial will be hard on all of us," including some evidence that will be "graphic and unsettling."
Crown says Terri-Lynne McClintic will testify at trial.
